November & December Planning

In November we have been focusing on Nursery Rhymes and with National Nursery Rhyme week two weeks ago we have been using our song & story sacks out and singing all day long to celebrate this special week;-).

Christmas is our favourite time of the year. What’s not to love?! We are embracing this month’s theme as we explore family traditions together. It’s such an exciting time of the year and your munchkin will learn & share those first early years Christmas family traditions which brings about so many opportunities for baking, art, decorating and learning about giving to others!

Each day we are opening one Christmas book and the daily opening of our book advent calendar is already a huge success as we use days of the week and numbers to teach early numeracy. It’s really sad you are not able to physically share your favourite Christmas books or stories your munchkin enjoys this year but if you wish to let us know of some favourites please do so, we will do our best to source them as online versions. The Christmas bells will come out at least once a day for a little bit of a festive jingle. Just like last year we will sing Christmas songs both in English and German. We are also planning for your munchkins to make homemade presents but enough said as otherwise it won’t be a surprise anymore…shhhhhh….Ho ho ho!
