May Planning
Our themes this month are Farm Animals & Transport. With the weather being on the up side (or not ;-)) we are hoping to take the munchkins on outings to farms and animal parks nearby where we can support the munchkins’ excitement, interest in animals as well as their learning by giving them first hand experiences they thrive on. We will also incorporate animal & transport play activities into our daily play routines such as circle time, books, songs & rhymes, small world play, sensory play, arts & crafts etc. Feel free to share any toys/books relating to the topics your munchkins enjoy at home with us.
Resources to support learning at home for the months are:
Books of the month:
The Very Funny Farm by Jack Tickle
The Hungry Hen by Richard Waring
Peek-a-Moo by Marie Torres Cimarusti
Freight Train by Donald Crews
Little Green Tractor by Iglobooks
Songs of the month:
Old MCDonald had a Farm
Piggy Wiggy
Big Red Bus
Wheels on the Bus
